Hello...
... I'm Alex and I am a registered nutritionist with a passion for women's health and fertility. I studied 'Naturopathic Nutrition' at CNM Bristol in 2018.
I am proud to be a registered member of BANT, which means that I am committed to providing the highest standard of evidence based nutrition advice and support to my clients. My interest in women's health has led me to specialise in fertility, and I am excited to help both women and men on their fertility journeys.
Whether you are struggling with fertility, looking to improve your overall health, or simply want to balance your hormones, I am here to help.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me, and I look forward to working with you to achieve your health and wellness goals.
Why Fertility
"As a nutritionist, I believe that taking care of our hormone health and fertility is crucial for overall health and well-being. By focusing on nourishing our bodies with the right nutrients, we can support our hormonal balance and increase our chances of conceiving. It's a privilege to help my clients on this journey towards optimal health."
My Story
I grew up in the beautiful city of Bath and from a young age, began working in nurseries. As I got older, I thought I would pursue a career in midwifery, but I actually ended up studying Adult Nursing at Cardiff University and earned my degree by the age of 21. I spent many years working as a nurse and nurse manager in London, where I gained invaluable experience and developed a deep understanding of the human body.
Throughout my nursing career, I never lost my fascination with babies, pregnancy, and the female body and briefly worked as an RGN in a maternity unit in north London, helping with women in pre-op, surgery and recovery, which was fascinating.
In 2017, my sister became ill, which sparked a deep interest in nutrition. I began to research the impact of nutrition on health and wellness, and I was amazed by what I discovered. A few years later, I embarked on a course at CNM Bristol, where I learned about the power of nutrition and its impact on the body.
Since then, I have focused on women's health, particularly conditions such as PCOS. Having been on my own fertility journey, I became even more interested in fertility and nutrition, and this is now what I focus on full time. I am passionate about helping women and men to achieve optimal health and wellness for fertility.
I currently live in Bristol with my partner and our dog, Percy. When I'm not working, I love to spend time in nature, exploring the countryside, hot yoga and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. I am excited to continue on my journey and to help as many women and couples as possible to achieve their health and wellness goals.
